Wellness Clinic

We are temporarily limiting our wellness services to vaccine appointments only. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding as we work to ensure a smooth experience for everyone and to meet your pet’s wellness needs. Our Wellness Clinic is open for vaccines on Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. by appointment only and can be reached at wellness@hcws.org or 702-371-8764. The clinic is operating out of our Spay & Neuter Clinic located at 546 North Eastern Avenue, Suite 175, Las Vegas, NV 89101. Thanks for your time.

Our Goal

We know the best way to save lives is to keep pets happy and healthy with their families and out of shelters. The Wellness Clinic is a resource for low-cost preventative medicine, diagnostic services, and outpatient procedures. We want to provide services for families who may feel they have run out of options for medical care.

Wellness Service Fees

  • Vaccine Appointment (a brief exam) – $20.00
    • Vaccinations are an easy, low-cost way to protect your pet from dangerous and preventable illnesses.
      • 3-1 (FVRCP) $15.00
      • 5-1 (DA2PPV) $20.00
      • Rabies $15.00
      • Bordetella $30.00
    • Exam Appointment (see Minor Illnesses)- $40
      • Microchipping – $40.00
Pricing on additional services such as bloodwork, radiographs (x-rays), medications, and euthanasia are dependent on your pet's needs and will be provided at the time of the exam.

Minor Illness Care/Procedures

  • Minor illness: Heaven Can Wait Wellness Clinic offers low-cost diagnostics and treatment for minor illnesses such as skin conditions, ear infections, mild vomiting/diarrhea, upper respiratory infections, etc.
    • If your pet is sick, please schedule your visit as an “Exam Appointment” to ensure the doctor has enough time to thoroughly evaluate your pet.
    • Additional charges may apply for diagnostics, medication, etc.
  • Anesthetic Procedures: At this time, Heaven Can Wait Wellness Clinic does not offer anesthetic procedures such as dentistry or mass removals. We hope to expand to offer these services soon.
  • We do NOT offer emergency services or hospitalization: We are able to keep prices low by offering limited services. For this reason, Heaven Can Wait Wellness Clinic does not see emergencies or offer overnight hospitalization. If your pet is having difficulty breathing, collapsing, unconscious, having seizures, etc., we recommend taking your pet to a full service or emergency vet clinic.
  • Limitations with fearful and/or aggressive animals: We have a small, dedicated staff at Heaven Can Wait Wellness Clinic. If your pet needs extra restraint or needs to be sedated due to fearfulness and/or aggressive behavior, we will be happy to recommend a full-service veterinary clinic for your pet’s specific needs.

What To Expect

  1. Book – To ensure ample time for each patient, only one appointment per pet is allowed. Once you request an appointment, you will receive a pending notification, which is not a confirmation email. A second email will inform you about the confirmed or declined status of your appointment.
  2. Confirm – You will get a reminder email 2 days prior and a text message 1 day prior so you can confirm your appointment. We know life happens, if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment please let us know as soon as possible.
  3. Check-In – When you arrive, please check in with one of our Heaven Can Wait team members. We will get your pet’s weight and you will meet with one of our technicians and our doctor.
  4. Check-Out – After your pet’s appointment, we collect payment for services rendered and provide any documents/rabies tags as needed
