Veterinarian

Are you a Veterinarian who wants your work to truly matter, not just to individual patients, but to an entire community? Do you find purpose in prevention-focused medicine and want to see the positive ripple effect of your hard work every single day? If so, we’d love to meet you!

For 25 years, Heaven Can Wait Animal Society has led high-impact spay and neuter efforts in Las Vegas, addressing the root causes of pet overpopulation and earning the trust and respect of our community. Through high-quality, low-cost surgical care, we help prevent unplanned litters, support community cats, and expand access to foundational veterinary care for families who need it most.

We believe foundational care (spay/neuter, vaccines and microchips) is one of the most powerful tools in animal welfare. By focusing on prevention and access, our work helps:

• Keep animals healthy and in loving homes
• Reduce shelter overcrowding and euthanasia
• Support pet owners, caregivers, and underserved communities

The impact of this work goes far beyond the surgery table. Every procedure helps ease the strain on shelters, improves quality of life for animals, and supports our neighbors caring for dogs and cats in our community.
