Heaven Can Wait Animal Society is seeking an experienced Office Manager to join us at our longstanding nonprofit Spay and Neuter Clinic. You will be working together with an established team to foster an environment of support, compassion, and advocacy for our city’s animals. We firmly believe that through providing affordable, evidence-based, quality veterinary care, we can do our part to keep pets healthy & happy in homes with loving families. This aligns with our larger mission of saving animals from shelter intake and risk of euthanasia, which also decreases the burden of pet overpopulation on our community.
We are a longstanding nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization committed to serving community cats, pets, and their families through low-cost, high-quality spay & neuter services and affordable preventative care, as well as through high-impact adoption and foster programming.
Through educating our community on the importance of these services for animal health, as well as reducing intake and euthanasia rates at our local shelters, we’re making a measurable impact on animal welfare in the Las Vegas Valley.

Creates and maintains relationships with community partners.
Essential Job Functions
Communicate with and educate clients.
Maintain and update clinic inventory.
Maintain and update client/patient records and accounts.
Schedules, trains, and onboards of new team members.
Tracks staff time for payroll.
Prepares weekly and monthly reports to present to Executive Director.
Prepares bank deposits.
Manages incoming and outgoing mail and emails.
Other Duties and Responsibilities
Performs additional duties as assigned.
This is a key holder position, security response out of office hours may occasionally be required.
Education & Experience
Must have 2-3 years of supervisory or management experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Must be comfortable navigating and maintaining databases/clinic software (training will be provided).
Must be comfortable with Microsoft programs, including Excel.
Veterinary and/or animal welfare experience is preferred.
Conversational Spanish proficiency is preferred.
We are open Monday-Thursday. The Office Manager typically works 4 10-hour shifts. Occasionally, additional hours will be required.
This is a full-time salaried position. Benefits include paid vacation/sick time and a monthly insurance subsidy.
