We’re Hiring: Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT)
Are you a Licensed Veterinary Technician who finds joy in helping animals and the people who care for them? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment where teamwork, compassion, and purpose come together every day? If that sounds like you, we’d love to meet you!
At Heaven Can Wait Animal Society, we’re dedicated to making high-quality, affordable spay/neuter and foundational veterinary care accessible to every pet and family in our community. Our clinic provides care for owned pets, shelter and foster animals, and community cats, helping reduce overpopulation and improve the well-being of animals across Las Vegas.
We’re currently seeking Licensed Veterinary Technicians to join our amazing Spay & Neuter team. We're looking for skilled, compassionate professionals who bring both expertise and heart to everything they do.
***We’re also open to VTITs (Veterinary Technicians in Training) and VAs (Veterinary Assistants) who are eager to learn, grow, and make a difference alongside our team!***
What You’ll Do
- Play a vital role in every step of the surgical process, from welcoming patients in the morning to helping ensure they wake up safely and comfortably after recovery.
- Partner with our veterinarians and client service team to deliver skilled, compassionate care and an exceptional experience for every client and patient.
- Support anesthesia monitoring, surgical preparation, and recovery based on your experience and level of training, while keeping every animal’s comfort and safety front and center.
- Keep our surgery and prep areas clean, organized, and running smoothly throughout the day.
- Help us provide efficient, high-quality care in a fast-paced, high-volume spay & neuter clinic.
You Might Be a Great Fit If You:
- Hold a current Nevada LVT license or are a VTIT/VA working toward one.
- Have a calm, caring approach and can stay steady and focused in a busy clinic environment.
- Are someone your teammates can count on! You’re willing to jump in, lend a hand, and know that we do our best work together.
- Take pride in doing things the right way and treat people and pets with kindness
- Are curious, willing to learn, and not afraid to take on a challenge or try something new.
- Want to do meaningful work, make a difference for pets and the people who care of them
Why You’ll Love It Here
- You’ll be part of a mission-driven organization working every day to make foundational veterinary care more accessible and improve the lives of pets and their people.
- You’ll have opportunities to learn, grow, and build your skills alongside an experienced veterinary team.
- You’ll work with a team that supports each other, celebrates the wins, and finds the fun in the work.
- You’ll know your work matters. Every surgery helps prevent unnecessary euthanasia, keeps pets out of overcrowded shelters and rescues, and gives families the opportunity to keep the pets they love healthy and by their side.
